Nothing beats the warmth and comfort of homemade applesauce! Especially when the apples used in making it were from our school garden 🍏🍎 😍
Mrs.Rochford from County Farm Bureau came to Mrs.Heying’s room to show students the importance of agriculture, the careers associated with it and the benefits we receive from agriculture. Today’s topic was apples! They discussed how apples are picked, the different varieties of them, and how they get to the store for us to buy.🍎

Today our middle school held an election for our student senate for this school year. The candidates created a campaign poster and gave a speech in front of the middle school and Leadership Team. Every candidate did a great job!
Congrats to our 2024-2025 Student Senate!

Last week we learned about what happened on 9/11. We talked about the bravery and selflessness that those first responders showed on that day. We took sometime to thank our local first responders for the commitment and dedication they make everyday to keep us safe!
Our 4 year old preschoolers read a book on Thursday about a family who owns a bakery. There were so many delicious sounding foods and recipes in the book, that the preschoolers decided to bake one! They really enjoyed making Chango Bars for snack!
Stay tuned for the recipe in our weekly newsletter!

Last week our whole school got our hands dirty in our school garden. Middle schoolers worked with our younger students to help harvest produce for our lunchroom! Later in the week our 4th graders got to learn about farm safety! 🌾👨🌾

Today for our Mass readings, we are asked to reflect on what discipline do we need to have to run the race before us. ✝️
Is it daily prayer? Or Is it being in a Bible Study that will hold you accountable?
Is it reading Scripture and journaling what the Lord is speaking to you through His Word?
Whatever the discipline, over time, you will see results in your relationship with God, and you will soon "Run so as to win" (1 Corinthians 9:24).
