This morning Iowa BIG came and visited with the middle school students about the importance of giving back to the community. Each of the high school students talked about their involvement in the community. They also talked about their "why" of being in Iowa BIG. Thank you Mr. Kuennen and high school students for starting our morning with such a positive message. We are excited to be partnering with them for a project during Catholic Schools Week!
The donations from the hot cocoa stand put on by our Kindergarteners were used to provide 29 books and 29 pajamas to LSI program in Waverly. Thank you to everyone!🤩

Today in Mr. Larsen's class they traveled back in time right before the American Revolution. 🇺🇸
The students took on the role of new settlers in America. They were living off of the money they had brought over from England. The King (Mr. Larsen) provided goods (Donuts) for the new settlers at the cost of being taxed on the goods. This fun and interactive lesson helped showcase what the new settlers went through leading up to the American Revolution.
This week there is no weekly Friday Mass✝️
