We had an amazing Author visit through Zoom in March and now we are excited to announce that we will have an in-person Author Visit on May 5th from Coach Sloth. Coach Sloth is an Iowa author who has published 10 children's books. He has worn many hats from playing football for Iowa State and other football teams, performing in some popular movies during football scenes and coaching multiple football teams. The movies he was in include: We Are Marshall, Leatherhead, Dark Knight Rising, and Amazing Spider-Man. "While reading a book to his newborn son Tucker, he decided to publish one of his past stories. " He loves writing stories that include his family members as characters. Please look for book order forms to come home next week. Coach Sloth will sign all books purchased with the students and they will receive the books they order the day of his visit. We are very excited for him to come to our school and share his passion for writing with our PreK- 4th grade students!
