During the week of January 10-13th, St. Joseph Community School partnered up with the New Hampton Development team and New Hampton High School to provide students real life job experiences. Guest speakers from New Hampton businesses came into talk to our students about job shadowing, filling out applications, along with various job opportunities that exist in our community.
Through the application process, students learned how important an application is to the hiring process along with interviewing. Three of our students were hired! Congrats to Ella, Eder, and Griffin for meeting the interviewer's expectations and getting "hired".
Students also had the opportunity to work in a Construction Simulator, experiencing real life on the job training.
